"Etisalat Misr" company has acquired the implementation of a project to establish a digital control center to manage all the New Administrative Capital (NAC) utilities by using Internet of Things (IOT).
Khaled Zayan, head of the commercial and government sector in the company, said that it was agreed with the New Capital Company to organize 50 online workshops in order to exchange technical expertise between the two parties, explaining that the prospective center will be responsible for managing utilities such as water and electricity meters.
This came during the press conference held by Telecom Egypt yesterday on the sidelines of the 40th session of the "GITEX" Communications Exhibition and Conference, which was held on December 6-10 in the Dubai World Trade Center, amid strict precautionary measures.
On the other hand, Gamal El-Sadat, Chairman of Telecom Egypt, confirmed that the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority administered professionally the tender it recently submitted to mobile companies regarding new frequencies for the service, and the company made a good financial offer to buy about 20 MHz in the 2600 frequency band after discussing the issue with the Board of Directors and Parent Group.
