The two contracts were signed by Dr. Ahmed Atta, Deputy of  Gharbia Governor, and Eng. He added that this signature comes in light of the cooperation protocol signed last March between the National Authority for Military Production and the Gharbia Governorate, with a view to maximizing the economic, social and investment benefits of some lands that fall within the scope of the geographical space of  Gharbia Governorate, and developing them to establish many investment and development projects.

The Minister of  Military Production added that within the framework of the signing of these two contracts, an investment project consisting of a hotel and restaurants complex in the "Old Traffic" land would be established, marketed and run, and another investment project would be established on the "Beau Rivage Land" consisting of a three-storey underground garage, a commercial mall, a specialized hospital and an administrative building. These projects will be carried out by the Military Production Company for Projects, Engineering Consultations and General Supplies.

This comes within the framework of the policy pursued by the Ministry of Military Production to contribute to the implementation of national and development projects in the country in cooperation with various parties.

Dr. Tariq Rahmi, Governor of Gharbia, indicated that there is a fruitful cooperation between the two sides in various fields, adding that cooperation with the Ministry of Military Production comes within the framework of the governorate’s plan to implement many projects that help develop the infrastructure and set strategies, policies and plans necessary to develop and improve the work system to achieve economic and social development.

Dr. Rahmi asserted that the Military Production Company for Projects, Engineering Consultations and General Supplies, entrusted with establishing and managing joint projects, possesses expertise and capabilities that enable it to implement the projects in the governorate efficiently and in accordance with international quality standards and at the times specified for project delivery.
