The axis contributes to the development of religious tourism in the region, where there are many mosques, churches and archaeological sites, as well as to reduce the risk of movement by Nile ferryboats that transport citizens from east to west of the Nile and vice versa. The corridor also helps reduce the inter-distances between the axes of the Nile to 25 kilometers to facilitate movement and serve development projects and new urban communities, so that the axis is an integrated transverse linking the road network east and west of the Nile and not just a bridge on the Nile.
