Markaz Dairut (Municipal Division), the last Markaz of Assiut governorate from the northern side, is one of the most important projects implemented by the Ministry of Transport. The project,"Dairout Free Corridor", which is built on the Nile River, connects the "eastern desert, western desert and agricultural" roads, at a total cost of EGP 1.7bn. The "Dairout Free Corridor" project is a great quantum leap in the movement of transport and communications. It contributes to the link between urban and industrial communities because it includes 13 industrial work, including 2 main bridges (a bridge over the Nile River with a length of about 1000 m, and a bridge on the railway with a length of 865 m above the "Assiut-Sohag" agricultural road, the "Cairo-Aswan" railway and the Al-Ibrahimiya canal, with 4 navigational openings, 10 shallow bridges and 1 culvert for torrents, with a length of 15 km and a width of 21 meters on two lanes. Telecom Egypt and Google International signed an agreement by which the latter will provide transit services at the level of Internet protocols (IP Layer) through the Egyptian terrestrial international communications network. Under the agreement, Google will obtain international capacities for Europe through the TE North submarine cable system owned by Telecom Egypt. Telecom Egypt will provide the highest levels of protection for Google's data traffic through submarine cable landing stations in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea as the Egyptian network will redirect private international data traffic of Google from one path to another with high flexibility and an interchangeable high speed with a routing time not exceeding 50 milliseconds.In addition, Telecom Egypt will provide the highest levels of availability for Google's international transactional traffic with its SLA portal. "Etisalat Misr" company has acquired the implementation of a project to establish a digital control center to manage all the New Administrative Capital (NAC) utilities by using Internet of Things (IOT). Khaled Zayan, head of the commercial and government sector in the company, said that it was agreed with the New Capital Company to organize 50 online workshops in order to exchange technical expertise between the two parties, explaining that the prospective center will be responsible for managing utilities such as water and electricity meters. This came during the press conference held by Telecom Egypt yesterday on the sidelines of the 40th session of the "GITEX" Communications Exhibition and Conference, which was held on December 6-10 in the Dubai World Trade Center, amid strict precautionary measures. On the other hand, Gamal El-Sadat, Chairman of Telecom Egypt, confirmed that the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority administered professionally the tender it recently submitted to mobile companies regarding new frequencies for the service, and the company made a good financial offer to buy about 20 MHz in the 2600 frequency band after discussing the issue with the Board of Directors and Parent Group.
