Minister of Planning: Monorail, water treatment projects in Egypt to receive USD 500 mn in green bond funding

Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said that the "Development Initiative" was launched last September in coordination and fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of State for Information and a number of other ministries, pointing out that the preparation for launching a specialized training program for media cadres and bodies in coordination with the United Nations Development Program. This was during the speech of Dr. Hala Al-Saeed at the ceremony of handing over the prizes of the "Development Initiative" competition at the headquarters of the Ministry of State for Information, delivered on her behalf by Dr. Mona Essam, Head of the Sustainable Development Unit at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. The celebration was attended by Mr. Osama Heikal, Minister of State for Information, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Mr. Mohamed Al-Atribi, COB of Banque Misr.
